Snooker 19 is the official World Snooker video-game developed by Ripstone Games and Lab42. A snooker simulation game, Snooker 19 allows you to play as a variety of pro players, climbing the ranks of the official World Snooker pro tour. Available on PS4, Xbox One and Steam, Snooker 19 allows snooker fans to immerse themselves in the drama of the game, iconic venues and beloved players.


To provide a strategic approach, original content and full community engagement across multiple social media channels for the launch of a new flagship game; Snooker 19. The game was the first of its kind in over 10 years so it was vital we engaged the community around it and created content that would spark action and joy in its audience.


To ensure our work had the greatest impact, we set about creating a strategic plan, brainstorming shareable content and creating processes to manage the active community of Snooker fans.

Getting into the nitty-gritty we:

  • Carried out in-depth research on Snooker 19’s target audience 
  • Created a meticulous social media strategy which included insights on the best times to post, a bespoke content schedule, the perfect hashtags to use, as well as a raft of ideas to help our audience fall in love with the game
  • Created and scheduled daily social media posts for Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Provided daily channel management, engaging with the audience and responding quickly to queries on each channel
  • Kept in regular contact via our project management tool Freedcamp and weekly calls
  • Worked iteratively to ensure the best results were felt each week
  • Carried out weekly reporting to help improve and adjust content for the following weeks
  • Developed creative ideas from the Ripstone team and turned them into reality across all of their channels
